Consigning with Before & After Babies is fun and profitable. Consigning at Before & After Babies offers 40% of profit to you!  Checks over $20 can be picked up on the 10th of each month. The 1st thing to know about consigning is when the clothing consignment seasons begin.

• September – October: Halloween costumes
• October – January: Winter wear, Christmas seasonal items

Consignment policies

• Before & After Babies determines the price and reserves the right to refuse any item.
• Drop and Run policy: We will not sort while you wait. You must leave your items in a bin or box and it will be returned to you.
• The consignment period is 90 days.  If you wish to pull your unsold items they must be pulled by the date on your consignor card. Before & After Babies employees are not allowed to pull or assist in pulling of expired items. All items not pulled will become the sole property of Before & After Babies to donate or use at their discretion.  If items are claimed prior to the last 10 (ten) days of the consignment period, a fee of $1.00 per item will be assessed.
• Before & After Babies does not provide hangers when unsold clothing is reclaimed.  If you want to keep your hangers, please ask for them when dropping off your clothing.
• Consignor is paid 40% of sales price on all merchandise.  The price of each article may be reduced up to 70% after they have been consigned for 30 days.  All items are subjects to special sales and promotions.
• Consignors may pick up their check and detailed statement on the 10th of the following month after 1st month of consigning month.  Must have at least a $20 balance.
• Consignment cash money will only be kept for the consignor for a 6 month term.  The 6 month term begins the month you consign.  After this the money converts to store credit only.  We will tell you over the phone the amount of money in your account.  All other inquiries concerning your account must be in person.
• You may use your account money for in store purchases anytime during the month.
• Property is consigned for sale at consignor’s risk. Before & After Babies shall not be held responsible for loss, theft or damage.
• Consignor shall receive an itemized donation receipt for any item they cannot locate.
• Consignors have the option at drop off if they want to pick up their items or have Before & After Babies donate their items upon expiration date.
• $1.50 consignor fee will be charged to each consignor, each time a check is paid out.
• Consignor contract must be signed when items are left at the store.

We balance giving both our sellers and buyers the best prices we can!  We know that the more you make, the more you will sell to us…and the better our quality and prices, the more you can buy from us!  It is a delicate balance.
